How to wash a synthetic wig To keep your wigs looking fresh and new, we recommend washing your wigs after a few wears or when you see it getting dull. Washing your wig will bring your wig back to looking new. Follow these simple steps to properly wash your wig. 1.Fill your sink or bowl with cool water. Add a capful of synthetic wig shampoo and blend in. Never use regular shampoo on synthetic wigs! 2.Gently swish the wig or piece in the water for about 30 seconds to a minute until the wig is saturated. Then lightly scrub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until

clean. Next, let the wig soak for about 15 minutes. Then empty the sink or bowl of water and rinse the wig or piece in cool water, especially on curly wigs! 3.Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or twist your wig. Then place on a wig stand or spread the wig out on a thirsty towel and leave in a ventilated area to dry overnight. You should spray on a little leave-on wig conditioner, when you start the drying process. After the wig is dry, re-style the wig gently by shaking and fluffing by hand and using a wig pick and not a brush.
